Bag Policy
The bag policy is designed to enhance the safety of all fans entering Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field as well as streamline the stadium entry process to provide fans with a safe and enjoyable experience.
UCONN FOOTBALL BAG POLICY
Fans are encouraged not to bring bags into the stadium. All bags are subject to search upon entry and are subject to additional searches within the stadium. Backpacks or oversized bags are not permitted. Purses/tote bags that are smaller than 12" x 6" x 12" will be permitted. Diaper bags are permitted in the company of a small child. Bags carrying medical needs will also be permitted and are subject to search by venue personnel. Bags for equipment and computers for those working the event, such as media, photographers, etc. are permitted and are subject to search upon entry into the venue. Guests are encouraged to return unauthorized items to their vehicles. Venues cannot safeguard items that are not permitted into the arena. Violators of the rules will be refused admission and asked to leave. This policy is in effect for all guests.

CONCERT BAG POLICY
Bags will not be permitted at entry to Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field, except for bags used exclusively for medical equipment or diaper bags for the care or infants and toddlers. Guests will still be permitted to bring a clutch purse into Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field, provided they are 8” x 5” x 1” or smaller. There is no check-in location for prohibited bags or items at the Stadium.Guests are encouraged to return unauthorized items to their vehicles. Violators of the rules will be refused admission and asked to leave. This policy is in effect for all guests.

All medical bag, diaper bags and clutch purses are subject to search and will be marked with a daily pass. *All ITEMS brought into the arena are subject to search. What happens if I take rideshare or am dropped off?
We don't have a bag check on site. Prohibited bags will not be allowed inside regardless of transportation to the Stadium.
Can I bring a clear bag?
- Yes, clear bags that fit the below bag sizes are allowed.
- One-gallon clear, plastic freezer bag (does not exceed 11″ x 11″)
- Bag that is clear plastic, vinyl or PVC (does not exceed 12″x 12″ x 6″)
- Small wristlet or handheld wallet, with or without handle strap (does not exceed 6.5″ x 4.5″)
I have medical items, can I bring a bag?
Yes, bags used exclusively for medical equipment will be allowed inside. These bags are subject to search upon entry.
Can I bring a diaper bag?
Yes, small diaper bags are allowed inside with a child. The diaper bags are subject to search upon entry.
What is the Concert Prohibited Items & Bag Policy?
Prohibited items include but are not limited to:
- Bags of any kind except:
- One-gallon clear, plastic freezer bag (does not exceed 11″ x 11″)
- Bag that is clear plastic, vinyl or PVC (does not exceed 12″x 12″ x 6″)
- Small wristlet or handheld wallet, with or without handle strap (does not exceed 6.5″ x 4.5″)
- Alcoholic beverages
- Animals (except service animals)
- Artificial noise makers
- Audio or video recording equipment
- Backpacks
- Cameras with lenses larger than 3"
- Cameras with a detachable lens
- Coolers, cans, glass bottles, flasks, or any outside food or beverage
- Drugs
- Balloons
- Laptops
- Large or inappropriate banners/flags
- Laser pointers
- Promotional items with commercial identification not approved by UConn / the stadium
- Strollers
- Umbrellas of any size
- Weapons of any kind (including weapons carried with a permit)
- Flares/fireworks
- Smoke bombs, smokers, or smoke sticks of any kind
* Cameras with detachable lenses and professional cameras are not permitted at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field.
