SL Benfica vs. ACF Fiorentina - ICC Soccer

ACF Fiorentina will now face SL Benfica at Rentschler Field in East Hartford on Friday, July 24 as part of the 2015 International Champions Cup North America. Kickoff time for the match is set for 8 p.m. EST.

Ticket Box Office will open at 5:00PM. 
Will Call will open at 5:00PM at Gate B.
Gates will open at 6:30PM.

Parking will cost $20 for cars, $25 for RV's and $30 for buses - CASH ONLY
Arrive early as there is a Concert at the Convention Center the same night. 

Despite agreeing to the tournament schedule and participating in the launch press conference on April 28 in New York, FC Porto has communicated its inability to participate in the 2015 International Champions Cup schedule and therefore has been replaced. Benfica will play the same schedule originally set for FC Porto and will play ACF Fiorentina on Friday, July 24 at Rentschler Field in East Hartford. 

Benfica, who wrapped up the Portuguese league title with their victory this past Sunday, will be the sixth current domestic league champion participating in this summer’s the International Champions Cup (Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, FC Barcelona, Club America, LA Galaxy and Benfica). 

The 2015 International Champions Cup North America will run from July 11 – August 5 and feature 17 matches played across 12 regions throughout the world. Each team will play four contests and the club with the most points at the end of the tournament will be crowned champion. Each win in regulation will result in three points and a tie will go straight to a shootout; the winning team in a shootout will receive two points and the losing team will receive one. The results from in-season Major League Soccer contests involving tournament participants will be used as part of official tournament scoring.
