With EXPO TO-GO, Gluten-Free New England Has It In The Bag!

Gluten-Free New England presents their first EXPO TO-GO on Saturday, October 24, 2020, 10:00am-3:00pm at Rentschler Field in East Hartford, CT. Thousands of reusable bags stuffed with gluten-free samples, coupons, and information will be available for curbside pick-up on the day of the event, or for nationwide shipping. Gluten-Free New England operates www.wickedglutenfree.com, and is the region’s leading resource for healthy gluten-free living.

With large-scale events canceled for the foreseeable future, owner Abby Helman Kelly created the Expo To-Go to continue connecting gluten and allergen-free brands with her fast-growing audience. “My goal is to keep putting new gluten-free products and information into the hands of the people who really want and need them, and I didn’t want it to be another virtual experience. Zoom fatigue is real.”

The bags will contain mostly gluten-free samples, manufactured by local and national brands, including cookies, granola, pasta, and more. Coupons and educational information from celiac support organizations will also be included. “What’s most exciting about this expo-in-a-bag,” Kelly states, “Is that anyone who couldn’t make it to an expo before, for any reason, can now have it delivered to their door, and that’s a big deal for both the customers and the businesses.”

Gluten-Free New England offers a dining directory, restaurant and product reviews, city guides, news, and more. Kelly, a Connecticut resident, launched the business in 2016 to provide a comprehensive resource for the region’s fast-growing gluten-free community and dining scene.
