Take Steps for Chron's & Colitis

May 21, 2017

Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation Greater Hartford Take Steps Walk
With nearly one in every 200 Americans living with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis, chances are you have a friend, family member, or co-worker connected to these diseases. Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis, collectively known as inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) are painful, medically incurable diseases that attack the digestive system. Take Steps and the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation are dedicated to funding research for treatments and cures.

By joining the Take Steps community, participants fundraise to support mission-critical research and patient support programs for the 1.6 million Americans living with IBD. Our Take Steps walks are family-friendly festivals dedicated to our patients and their families and serves as a celebration for all the hard work and dedication of our community. Our community is a group of patients, loved ones, friends and supporters that EMPOWER and INSPIRE each other to continue the fight against these diseases. Each year we CONNECT with the IBD community as we fundraise for cures.

Funds raised through Take Steps will help transform the lives of those impacted by these diseases, and support CCFA’s critical research, education, and patient support programs.  The Greater Hartford Take Steps walk will take place on Sunday, May 21, at Rentschler Field in East Hartford.  Walk with us today: get started at www.cctakesteps.org/greaterhartford2017
